Shipamax selected for world leading Supply Chain and Logistics Programme run by Plug and Play
Shipamax has been selected by international logistics companies including DHL and CH Robinson, to participate in a world leading supply chain and logistics programme run by corporate innovation platform Plug and Play.
The industry specific programme, is designed to introduce Plug and Play’s corporate partners, which include, DHL, Geodis, CH Robinson and DSV, to growth-stage startups that can be used to optimise both their own business, and that of their customer.
More than six hundred startups applied for the supply chain programme, with Shipamax one of only twenty two companies selected to join. Plug and Play selected 111 startups to join their Spring programme intake.
Jenna Brown, Co-Founder and CEO of Shipamax, commented:
“After showcasing our technology to Plug and Play’s corporate partners, we are pleased to hear that it touched upon some significant pain points. This is an exciting opportunity for Shipamax to work with some of the largest logistics players, and to see if we can successfully roll out our technology across their business.”
In January, Shipamax announced $7m in Series A investment, led by Mosaic Ventures, with the support from Crane Venture Partners and Y Combinator. The funding will be used to help Shipamax double in size, and develop its core technology, which is helping freight forwarders and other logistics companies automate their back office processes.
